The HELIX Spinner Kickstarter campaign has officially ended, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.

A massive thank you to every single one of you who believed in this project and helped bring the HELIX to life. Your support, shares, and enthusiasm made this possible. Whether this was your first Kickstarter or you're a longtime Dapper Design backer, we appreciate you.

What Happens Next

Kickstarter now needs approximately 2 weeks to collect and process all pledges. Once that period is complete and funds are released, we’ll immediately move into the next phase.

BackerKit Survey

In the meantime, we’re at work setting up the BackerKit survey. This is where you’ll be able to confirm your shipping address, choose any add-ons or additional reward options, and provide us which color HELIX Spinner(s) you want.

We’ll send out the survey invites as soon as it’s ready — you’ll receive an email from BackerKit with the link. Please keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder, just in case). We will be posting a backer update when those are sent out as well.

Note: As with all campaigns there are always dropped backers, cancellations, etc. and so the final quantities will be different.

Mix and Match Button Grips (ADD-ONS)

We’re excited to let you know that we’re considering adding a Titanium Silver button grip as a new ADD-ON option.

As you know, we currently offer three grip finishes: Copper, Antique Brass Black, and Gold. We feel the Titanium Silver spinner should have a matching silver button grip option to make an even more sleek look — and by offering all four button options as ADD-ONS, you’ll be able to mix and match to create your perfect custom combination.

Tip: If you chose to pledge for all 3 color ways, you can disassemble and mix and match the parts to customize your own unique multi-color spinner. The spinner parts are not glued/permanently connected; they are held together by the threaded buttons.

Hi everyone,

A huge thank you for making our first week on Kickstarter such a strong success!

Your incredible support for the HELIX Spinner has us truly humbled and energized. This is exactly why we love creating minimalist, high-quality EDC gear — because of passionate folks like you who appreciate thoughtful design.

We had planned to send this first update out Monday morning, but we got a little behind this week. We wanted to show you the packaging idea we have for the spinner (inspired by our previous knife projects).

Packaging Preview

We want the unboxing experience to feel special — clean, protective, and gift-worthy, while staying true to our minimalist aesthetic. Many of you are familiar with this style of packaging (if you've pledged on previous projects) but incase you're new, here are a few shots of the current packaging direction:
